On The Podium – Keke Rosberg Sprays Champagne – Dallas GP 1984
This past December 15, I received the 2015 Bob D’Olivio Award For Photography at the Motor Press Guild Ceremony held at the newly redesigned Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California. It was for my article “24+30,” published in the December 2014 issue of PCA Porsche Panorama Magazine and the subject of my February 3rd post here on Poetics of Speed. This is a wonderful honor and I deeply appreciate the recognition.
“The Los Angeles-based Motor Press Guild (MPG) is the largest automotive media association in North America. This exclusive, non-profit organization is dedicated to upholding the highest ideals in automotive journalism and promoting education and information exchange within the motoring press. For more information, please visit www.motorpressguild.org.”
My thanks go to Pete Stout, editor, and all the staff at Porsche Panorama for publishing my article and for the MPG nomination. An additional acknowledgement goes to Richard Baron, Panorama’s Creative Director, for his elegant design of “24+30.”
Happy Holidays to all and best wishes for the New Year. I’ll be back posting again in January.
